About Us
Mariners' Arena Foundation (MAF) is the official fans club of Mohun Bagan Super Giants. Living and spreading the spirit of the Mariners, MAF is known as the '12 man of Mohun Bagan' and the 'Gladiators'. We are also actively engaged in social service activities, through which we exemplify the 'Mariner values' for welfare causes.
What We Stand For
The vision of Mariners' Arena is inspired by the valiant struggle of the Mohun Bagan's 'Immortal XI', who battled colonialism through the medium of sports. They displayed that sports could be much more than merely a source of amusement. It can be a potent platform to drive changes and make social statements.
The mission of Mariners' Arena is to follow the footsteps of the 'Immortal XI' by using sports as an instrument of positive and holistic social change. We seek to empower the downtrodden sections of the society through the medium of sports and education, by providing them with platforms, scholarships, and other charitable assistance. We are also committed upon propagating the positive values that sports in general, and football in particular, stand for; such as inclusivity, hardwork, camaraderie, mutual respect and chivalry.
MA Foundation Social Service
Mariners' Arena foundation is actively involved in social service endeavours. From providing educational assistance to those from downtrodden sections of the society, to scholarships for the financially backward sporting talents and blood donation camps, our efforts have tried to touch every aspect of human life and extend an helping hand to those who may need it. We have also carried out various projects to raise awarness regarding the need for hygine, and the threat of biodiversity depletion.
With sports related activities as our base, Mariners' Arena Foundation consistently strives to make meaningful contributions in every aspect of human life.
